About Us
At Winans Primary School, we work hard to be respectful, responsible, ready, and safe learners! Winans School serves students in our Early Literacy Program (aged 4 years old on or by September 10th), kindergarten (aged 5 years old on or by September 10th), first, and second grades. We offer many services and programs to individualize and meet our school's diverse range of learners. The programs and services include counseling, physical education, music, library, art, extra support in reading and math, speech, physical therapy, and occupational therapy. Art and Indian Education for All are also integrated into the classroom.
Along with the Livingston School District, we believe the educational mission of Winans, in partnership with the community, is to provide the opportunity for all students to learn, in a safe environment, the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed in order to become life-long learners and contributing citizens in a diverse society.
