Summer Information

Summer LINKS camps will take place weekdays from 7:30 a.m. – 5:15 p.m. Frequent field trips will allow students to explore their community and surrounding areas. Experienced LINKS staff working with community partners will organize and lead activities.  Sessions will include healthy breakfasts, lunches, and snacks. Engaging enrichment activities will complement organized, structured activities as well as academic review.
 
2022 Summer Themes and Sessions

STEAMsational- June 20-July 1 (Weeks 1&2)

Design, build, program, problem solve, and create rockets, robots, solar cars, wind, mills and other STEAMsational inventions using Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math skills

*Art lessons are offered week 2. 

All Things Red, White, and Blue!-

July 5-9 (Week 3)

The celebration continues as we learn about all things USA from the Stars and Stripes to the Statue of Liberty! Explore why we celebrate on July 4th!

Get Lost in Montana!- July 11-22 (Weeks 4&5)

Dive in and explore the wonders of this beautiful state we call home!  How does Montana’s wildlife, geography, and history affect our lives today? Trains, the wild west, native animals, and plants are just a few of the topics we will explore during this session!

*Art lessons are offered week 4.

 

Aquatic Adventures!-

July 25- August 5 (Weeks 6&7)

Swoosh, bubble, gurgle and splash!  Prepare to get wet as we explore local ponds, streams and rivers in search of microscopic life. A fun, hands-on learning experience exploring the properties of water, conservation and aquatic ecosystems.

Summer Fees
$120.00- per week for 1 child* 
*Additional siblings receive a 50% discount
  • Children who qualify for Free and Reduced Lunch attend free of charge.
  • Scholarships are available
 
Enrollment Information
Enrollment is limited to maintain low student to staff ratios. Enrollment opens Friday, March 18th. Access the Summer Application, Field Trip Permission Slip, and Brochure below.
 
Refund/Cancellations
30 day notice is required for any refunds minus a $40.00 processing fee.  Payment for all weeks a child is originally signed up for is required regardless of “No shows” or change in plans!

*Completed forms can be emailed to terri.hartly@livingston.k12.mt.us or dropped in the mailbox by the front door of Washington School.
