Election and Voter Information
General Information
Regular school elections take place on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in May. For comprehensive information on Montana school elections, consult the Montana School Election Handbook, available from the Montana Office of Public Instruction. Absentee ballot request forms are available upon request at the Park County Clerk and Recorder's Office, 414 East Callender Street Livingston, MT 59047 and at the Livingston School District Administration Office, 132 S. B Street, Livingston, MT. 59047 . Please reference the Ballot Interference Prevention Act before returning a ballot other than your own.
If you miss the regular registration deadline, you may still register for the election by showing up at the county election office up to election day. Between noon and the close of business on the day before election day, you can complete and submit a voter registration card, but you will need to return it to the local election office on election day before you can vote a ballot at the School Election.
Board of Trustees
Livingston School Districts 4 &1 board members are elected by simple majority vote, and serve three-year terms. Candidate Packets are available at the Livingston School District Office, 132 South B Street, Livingston, MT 59047.
