Volunteer Background Check Information

Livingston School District Board Policy 5122 requires that all volunteers complete a District-approved fingerprint criminal background check to help ensure the safety of our students.

We value and encourage parents and community members to participate in classrooms, field trips, and school events as volunteers and chaperones.

Scheduling Your Background Check

Background check appointments are available:

• 📅 Tuesdays–Thursdays
• 🕒 9:00–11:00 AM and 2:00–4:00 PM

Please complete the scheduling form to request an appointment. You may select a preferred day and time block; the District Office will assign your exact appointment time and send a confirmation to the email address you provide.

Remember to bring a valid state-issued photo ID to your appointment.

• Required Document: State-issued photo ID
• Appointment Length: Approximately 15 minutes
• Processing Time: Up to 30 days
