Transportation

Before submitting a bus registration form, please review the following key points:

• Request Does Not Guarantee Service: Submitting a bussing request does not guarantee transportation if your child lives within 3 miles of their school.

• Confirmation Required: Your child is not officially registered for bussing until you receive a confirmation email from Beth Smith, which will include their bus route, stop location, and times.

• Rules and Responsibilities: You are responsible for reviewing the School Bus Rules and Discipline Procedures with your child. Failure to follow bus rules or directions from the driver or aide may result in disciplinary action, including suspension of bus privileges.

• Bus Stop Conduct: Parents/guardians are responsible for their child’s safety and behavior at the bus stop, before pick-up, and after drop-off.

• Assigned Stops Only: Students may only get off at their designated stop unless prior arrangements have been made with the Transportation Office.

• Guest Riders: Guest riders are not allowed without prior approval. Unapproved riders will be turned away.

• Cameras Onboard: All buses are equipped with cameras, and video footage may be used for student behavior documentation and disciplinary decisions.

• Lost Items: If your child leaves something on the bus, it is your responsibility to retrieve it from the Transportation Office.

• Be Ready: Students should be at the bus stop at least 5 minutes early. Delays may occur due to weather, traffic, or trains.
