Reading Rangers
Reading Rangers is a program designed to match Winans students with PHS students for a 15-minute reading session. Each quarter a different group of PHS students will visit the classrooms to read one-on-one with Winans students. Some of the benefits of this include building connections between students, engaging in empathy, and listening to a fluent model.
On December 19th, Winans hosted the first Reading Rangers gathering with the Boys and Girls Basketball teams reading to Winans students. Below you can capture some of this fun adventure.
