The Livingston School Board of Trustees is searching for a candidate to fill a vacancy on the board. A person assuming a trustee position shall serve until the next regular school election, in May of 2026. Applicants must reside in the Elementary District and must be a registered voter. Interested individuals should complete the attached application and submit by 4:00 PM on June 2nd. The application can be emailed to [email protected] or dropped off at the Livingston School District Office located at 129 River Drive. The Board shall individually interview the finalists in a regular or special meeting and appoint the candidate who, in the judgment of the Board, is most likely to contribute to the growth and development of the District’s education programs and operations. All elementary district trustees shall vote on the candidate of their choice.
The candidate receiving a majority of the votes shall be appointed to the board and administered the oath of office.
