Good morning, families,
We are writing to you this morning to let you know that we have isolated the plumbing issue and have a plan to address it. In order to remedy the issue as soon as possible, we will need to close Winans School next Thursday, November 9th. We realize this is inconvenient for families, and we apologize for that. The plumbing issue demands immediate attention, and the company we are using is available at the end of next week. Since we already do not have school next Friday, November 10th this seemed like a good opportunity to make that happen.
We also will be rescheduling parent/teacher conferences that were scheduled for next Thursday, November 9th. If you had a parent/teacher conference scheduled for the 9th, your child's teacher will be reaching out to reschedule another time to meet with you about your child's progress.
Again, we apologize for this inconvenience and appreciate everyone's flexibility as we resolve this issue.
