Step 1:
Teacher adds students names (using format below) who you are mandating/requiring to be here GRF. Here is the
link to the list: GOLD
FRIDAY LIST
Keep the Format:
Column 1: Student LAST Name
Column 2: Student FIRST name
Column 3: Course
Column 4: Teacher
- **Hint-you may need to use bottom scroll bar and move it to the left
- PLEASE DO NOT ADD MORE COLUMNS to the spreadsheet—Just put students name in again (even they are already there)—we sort it later & SEND you a PDF on late Wednesday afternoon of the complete list)
Step 2:
Teachers must give an invitation/Inform/Invite students that they are required
to attend GRF by you. (Attached an invite you can print or use your own method/canvas)
Step 3:
We (Lisa, Abby, Marri) email parents (Wednesday afternoon) using a generic statement that their student is REQUIRED to attend on GRF & we send a PDF of the list to teachers for reference.
**If you want to remove a student you put on the list after the Wednesday email goes out to parents then you (the teacher) must:
1. Check the PDF list that you will get in an email Wednesday late afternoon for the student’s name then:
a. Notify Lisa, Abby and Marri to remove them from the list for your class—
b. AND if you are the ONLY teacher that invited them please email the parent & student to inform them they are off the list. (refer to list in PDF you were emailed to know or ask Abby, Lisa or Marri)
GOAL of GRF:
**Students are able to use this Friday as an academic help/catch up session if needed and do not need a formal invite to attend
but do need one if they are required.
**PLEASE allow credit/grade increase for work done so there is incentive for students to come. (a 50% is so much better than a zero)
