Livingston School District contracts with the Livingston City Police Department to provide a School Resource Officer (SRO) to maintain a safe and secure environment conductive to learning. The Livingston Police Department and the Livingston School District believe that assigning a SRO to a school enhances safety and security for students, and increases students’ knowledge and respect of the law. The SRO programs intended to be proactive in nature, with an emphasis on preventing problems before they arise.
